So yesterday was the DC Chili Cookout Concert thingy.
And Incubus was practically 30 MINUTES FROM MY HOUSE!
Do you understand the atrocity of this situation? They were 30 minutes from my house! And where was I?
- The library
- Some computer shop
- Costco
- Subway
- The dollar store
- CVS
- My house
While I was at these places, lucky people were getting to be in the presence of an awesome band. That's some crazy chiz to think about. I actually forgot about it until I was waiting in the car for my dad to get a computer from the repair store. So I decided to turn on the Rock station and it sounded a little off, like there was music playing in the background and the guy was having an interview with Cake. And then it just hit me that the concert was TODAY.
Incubus actually hadn't played yet and the interviewer guy was going interview him in a few and they were gonna play some time later. I didn't get to hear them because then my dad came and we wasted time at some other places. Once I came home, I lounged around, read, and then slept. For forever.
I haven't turned on the radio since then so I don't know what's going on now. I don't wanna know actually.
I'm going to right a letter to those guys to not break up any time soon because once I turn 18 (possibly not living in my parent's house), I am going to see them in concert. I will make a friend who has the same fascination with Incubus as I do in college. And we are going to go together and see them. I don't care if the person is black, white, Spanish, Asian. I don't care if they are female, male, hermaphrodite, transvestite. I don't care. As long as I like you and you're a fan of Incubus. We are going together.
