My dad and my brother were planning on going to Ross on Saturday to buy headphones so I decided to tag along. The whole house ended up tagging along. I got myself a magazine holder, a patterned box that I plan on putting my lotions and perfumes in, a pillow, and probably something else. I can't remember. I also got ziploc bags and toothbrushes and a bit of other miscellaneous items.
On Sunday, I went with my dad to Costco and Walmart and I got myself a pack of Arizona teas that I plan on taking to Philadelphia. I also got cereal that's probably going to get eaten by the house so it's probably not going to Philadelphia with me. At Walmart, we got a desk lamp, cups, a flash drive... Basically all my school supplies. I also got a backpack which is pretty cute. It's in the style of those girly trendy backpacks you see on Pinterest and Tumblr nowadays. It's turquoise and black tribal print. But I'm questioning whether I should get a neutral colored one that would match with everything.
I saw a really rad looking one on JCPenney and Zumiez. I'll just post them both here.
The one on top is from JCPenney and the one on the bottom is from Zumiez. I truly like both and I'd be okay with either of them. The first one I like because of the silver studs and the pockets. I think it'll match more of my clothes and it's more functional for school. The second one I like because it seems more grunge-y. The backpack looks bigger too. And it's cheaper. Ultimately, I'm planning on going to JCPenney to look at the bags in hopes that I may see something similar for cheaper. I wouldn't mind spending my own money to buy the backpack.
Oh. Did I mention that I got a $100 gift card from JCPenney. Yaasss. Swag.
I got it from this aunt who's homework I've been doing for the past few weeks. There's some poetry stuff I should've been doing this weekend but I really don't want to do You would think the gift card would've been motivation but it's not. In fact, I think I lost the gift card. It's in my room somewhere for sure. I just don't know where.
Zumiez is actually a pretty good store. I like their clothes. It's the perfect amount of alternative/girly. It's just too damn expensive. I think I'll go to sleep pretty soon. I'm gonna try and wake up early to do this homework. I also have to clean out my room. And then I want to go to the library tomorrow.
