I Don't Know What To Say

I'm gonna first start out with my morning.

Well, when I woke up, it was already 6:44 AM. This wouldn't have been such a big deal if my parents were home. You see, my dad was getting surgery on his arm and my parents went down to Virginia at 5:00 AM. (I haven't mentioned this before but my dad has been having pains and aches in his arm. It got to a point where he couldn't even raise his arm. And he would have to put a hot pack on it plenty of nights. He would go OOH whenever he twisted his arm in a certain way. We got pictures back of the surgery and there was a hole in his muscle tissue.)

So yeah... also, I can't find my cell phone charger and my phone was low on battery. So I couldn't use my phone alarm. And my mom didn't wake me up like she usually does. She tried to call but my phone was off. (It still is.)

So I didn't even take a shower or eat breakfast. I just brushed my teeth, woke up my brothers and sister, got dressed, washed my face, straightened up my hair, watched a little news, and headed out the door. I wasn't even wearing my uniform shirt. I straightened up my headband on the way to the bus stop and applied a little chapstick. It was so freezing cold outside.

When I got to school, I bought myself a Rice Krispie and some diet Fanta for breakfast. I never ate that Rice Krispie until I got home. And I only took a few sips of the Fanta. In fact, I still have it right now. I went to my German class as usual. And that's when this dude came into our class saying there was gonna be a uniform check. We've had uniform checks before but the dude never checked well. Instead, he glanced at us and left. But NOO, this time, he actually checked for polo shirts. The ONE time I don't wear my polo shirt is the time they check. I'm starting to get angry right now just by the thought of it.

One of the administrators asked for name and number. I gave him the wrong number though. But I know he could always check.

So me and my other friend walked in shame with a bunch of other people. We went outside where the temps were for ALC. (In School Suspension) We were there the whole day. We had to copy from this Parkdale Handbook thingy which took almost 3 periods. (I didn't write it all though. I strategically wrote just the first few and last few sentences from each paragraph.) And we had to write some essays. And then we had lunch duty (clean up the cafeteria). I was so angered.

My hands hurt just from thinking about it.

When I was finally released (you have to get 30 points to leave ALC by writing the handbook, essays, and lunch duty) it was already about a half hour into 4th period. And then I had to explain to the whole class why I was late. It was totally shameful.

The only good thing about that school day was that my good old friend from Orchestra class gave me a valentine chocolate. You know, those little candy gram things we used to give out in elementary school. It makes me wanna smile. I had it in my pocket the whole day. I had to put it in the refrigerator when I got home because it melted.

Once I got home, I went straight to the answering machine, listening in to see if the school called or something. Luckily, those fags didn't.

But the day certainly got better. I called my mom and found out my dad woke up from the surgery. Seriously, I was paranoid all day. I was scared that something might've happened to my dad. (I watch too much of the Discovery Health Channel.) And then the letter for Martha Washington High came in. And guess what?

I GOT IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D I wasn't as super excited as my parents were to tell you the truth. I felt proud of myself but I wasn't ecstatic. I think I was more happy that my parents were proud than that I got into the school. I really don't care too much about going there but whatever... I got people over there so I'm not scared. I haven't told anyone yet. I'm gonna tell my people from Wash that I'm coming. But I'm gonna wait until the last days of school to tell my peeps from Picnic that I'm leaving them. Except this one chick. And the people who took the test.

And my "cousin" (he's not really my cousin) told me that T-Mobile was having a promotion so people could get free phones and stuff. And my mom says I deserve one. So that means I'm getting a new phone!!! :DD

Well, maybe. If we can go tomorrow.

But yeah, see how the day just turned around. God is so good.
