My mom told me something so crazy yesterday.
So I think on Friday or whatever, I was watching the news. This man tried to rob a bank in a city not very from where we live. In fact, it's the same place where my brother goes to private school. I remember seeing the place and thinking, "Hey, I've seen that bank before." or whatever. That's the only reason why I saw it.
Then the news showed a video of a man coming out of the bank with a gun and a woman on hostage. There were all the police officers crowding around with guns in their hands. You know, like behind their police cars and stuff. Then they were like, the gunman slipped on some ice (because we had a baby Snowmaggedon here) and that's when they shot at him. I thought this was so crazy because it was somewhere near home. It stuck in my mind but I didn't think too much of it.
But then yesterday, my mom told me that the gunman worked at her workplace. That was the craziest thing ever. She said that he used to pick up trash and stuff. Sometimes they made small talk and stuff. The man would call her name when he passed by and pretend it wasn't actually him who called her. You know, small stuff like that. She said that he was nice and quiet, like you wouldn't even suspect him of committing something like that. Everyone at her workplace was sad about it. My mom works at a nursing home so the gunman dude was close to the residents (that's what my mom calls them but they're basically the old people who live there). They didn't want the old people to know that their dear trash man was committing robberies and that he was dead. My mom said they had the FBI and stuff up in there.
God, when I said I wanted life to get interesting, I didn't mean like this. But it's whatever. Thank you for keeping my family safe.
But it's so scary to think that this man was working alongside my mother. Who knows? What if he decided to start shooting at the nursing home? Obviously, his brain wasn't very stable. Okay, so he robbed a bank. He had all these policeman surrounding him with guns. Instead of surrendering, he still kept his gun up. Obviously, he would rather die then fess up to his crimes. My mom said she thinks that this is the first time he's ever committed something like that. That his friends put him up to it. But on the other hand, she says that he's always carrying around a big wad of cash to show off to all the women.
I don't know. I don't actually wanna get to into it. I was really more worried for my mother's safety. It's just so crazy.
And then my friends brought it up in English class today. I told one of them even though my mom told me she didn't want anyone to know that she was associated with the dude. I guess I was just caught up in the excitement. I hope the girl doesn't open her mouth...
The health teacher hasn't been here for the two days we were supposed to have her. Isn't that lucky? I guess we're having these days to enjoy before we meet hell. Some people say that she retired. Some people say that she had heart surgery. LOL, This dude got mad. He was like, "Why didn't she decide to get heart surgery when we had her?"
NAH NAH NAH BOO BOO to you. Sike. The dude's cool. He's funny. We were discussing Pretty Little Liars along with Jackie. See? That's what we do when we're supposed to be playing violin.
