Sorry Wooster. But you sound like Booster.
Sorry Skidmore But you sound like Skid mark.
Sorry Scranton. But you sound like ScanTron. I don't need another reminder of the horrible tests that have betrayed me.
I actually applied to the University of Scranton. But don't worry about that. And I just finished applying to Case Western Reserve. I should've just applied by the Early Action deadline. >.< My friend made my delete my application when she said it was a military school. But then again, it's also FREE so it would've have hurt. Plus, I could do medicine on the battlefield. I'm cool with it.
I have a lot of things to remember to do tomorrow. Gah.
First, I need to talk to my counselor about the Common App Fee Waiver. UNC e-mailed me today, talking about how I didn't pay my application fee. No DUH. Because I got a fee waiver on Common App! But apparently not. I mean, I'm not tripping if my teacher doesn't give me the fee waiver. I've got eight of them right by my bed from College Board. But I just don't wanna go through the hassle of mailing them. So my counselor better set this right.
Second, I'm going to have to talk to my Computer Graphics teacher about writing a recommendation letter for me for UMBC's scholarship program. And I'll have to give her an envelope with a stamp and shiz. I also need to give a stamp and envelope to my Chemistry teacher.
Third, I need to take my name off the list for tutoring on Monday. I'm only supposed to do two hours anyway and I accidentally put my name down for a third time and I'm not using my hang-with-friends time to tutor needlessly.
I want chocolate.
Fourth, I'm not sure what else I have to do but I'm sure it's pretty important.
I'm going to apply to George Mason right now. I don't know if you can tell but I'm really buzzer-happy right now. So I'm applying to a bunch of schools right now so I can use my Free Send SAT scores thing and plus, the schools I'm applying to are schools that I'll most likely get scholarships too.
My dermatologist gave me some good advice on medical school when I went on Tuesday and she said that it doesn't matter what school I go to as long as I do really well in it. It's the stuff that I've been reading but hearing it from an actual doctor enforced everything. So if I get to go to George Mason or some other school like that for free and be at the top of my class, I'd rather do that than pay to go to Harvard for $100,000 where I'll be at the bottom of the class.
I'm applying for George Mason and their application is a beeotch. Like, why aren't they on Common App FIRST OF ALL? And why are you asking for essays? I thought I was a "Modern Mind" applicant. Doesn't that count for anything? I mean, the essays are optional. But really, if there are essays that can be done. I'm pretty sure they want them to be done. Meh. I don't even want to go to George Mason anyway so I'm not even gonna bother too much with this. I'll apply to UPitt after this and then I'll be officially done.
Actually nope. Not applying George Mason after all. They ask for too much.
Maybe I'll just cool it with applying for colleges for now.
I got my SAT II Math score back and got a 630. What a pitiful score when I could've gotten a 700 if I had just finished the test. Pitiful, pitiful, pitiful.
I want some chocolate.
Tomorrow, I'm going to a poetry slam. And on Tuesday, I'm skipping out on my internship to talk to juniors about internship except I probably won't talk much. I'll probably ogle at the 11th graders and smh at them. I probably shouldn't skip out but I think I should have a day off from this internship routine. Plus, I'm coming in on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, probably for like four hours, so I'll make up the hours anyway. Apparently, no one is even gonna be in the lab the day before Wednesday so I think I'm doing them a service or however the phrase goes.
My friend and I are probably going to go to the movies together that Tuesday as well. I'll end up not bringing anything to school then. My teachers better not give out any actual work on Tuesday or they're asking for a pencil stab.
I'm not sure what else is happening... It's the same old honestly. At my internship, I've finally finished recording and now I need to start editing them. Today, I spent my entire time trying to fake out my log book. We were supposed to update our log book each day since we had started. And yeah, nope! Didn't do that. So today, I spent my time going through e-mails and data sheets and calendars for some idea of what I did on each day I had been at my internship. I put all the information on a spreadsheet and eventually, I'll have to put the information in my log book. I guess that's what I'm doing this weekend!
I have an Orgo test tomorrow that I have yet to study for. But I'm not really tripping over it because I actually understand the concepts. I just need to memorize the names of the different benzenes and write some reactions on some flashcards and I'll be set.
I've been reading the book 1984. Have I told you? I think I have. I've been reading it for so long now. And I think the best thing now is to just read it on the bus on the mornings or when I'm on the shuttle. It's the only time I have to read and since my earphones have already given out, I cannot use the excuse to listen to music in the mornings. And I guess I can read on Friday nights and stuff. I really wanna finish this book though. I realized I never got around to writing that post on The Stranger. I'll try to on Saturday. After my practice ACT, I'll hopefully make it on time to eat food and then I'll go to the library and work on essays. And then after, I'll see if I can get my parents to let my siblings and me go to the movies to watch the new Hunger Games Movie: Catching Fire!
I should leave now... And study... I'll probably first go get some snack to crush. And probably go on GuruGossip as well. But yeah...
Buh-Bye.
