-_- HSA English Tomorrow.

I don't want to sound conceited but I'm really not worried about how well I do on the test. I've always done good on state assessments so why should I worry now. My dad asked if I studied and in my mind I was like PSHHH Study???

But now I feel like karma will hit because of my bigheadedness and I'll end up getting  the lowest score posisble on the English HSA. So I'm trying to keep my self humble until after the test.

But still, I'm seriously not even freaking out. I've always got Advanced scores on those types of tests. Really, what I'm freaking out about is how the heck I'm going to find my testing class and who I'm gonna eat lunch with afterwards. I was supposed to look for the class today so that I was sure, but that didn't happen. (The qualms of having friends.) And I'm so anti-social that I'll probably end up eating lunch by myself in the corner of the gym.
I'm still trying to figure how they're gonna fit half of the sophomore class in one gym but whatever.

The best thing about taking advanced classes is getting them over with. I took Algebra 1 in 7th grade and I took Biology in 9th grade. So the only HSA I have to take this year is English. I would've had to take Government but they removed it because apparently it was costing millions of dollars to administer or something. Whatever. One less test to take.

So I'm done with HSAs after tomorrow. I mean, there's still SATs and stuff. The SAT worries me. I never realized how hard this thing was until I took the PSAT. Over the summer, I'm getting down to business. Really, what made it so hard was the vocabulary. I had no clue what a lot of the words meant which shows how primitive my vocabulary actually is.

The good thing is that these days, I've been so fascinated with language and words. And I dream of speaking articulate and intelligent and it has largely to due with Ezra Miller. So that's some motivation right there. To speak as well as Ezra Miller. :P

Yeah, so I'll have to get on that.

School is ending in like what, three weeks? Less than that? I don't know but it's soon. And I'm gonna have to make a summer to-do list soon. So yeah...

OH AND YEAH. I think you guys could probably figure it out but I've been on a hiatus from Tokio Hotel. It hasn't completely been erased from my life because their songs still come up on Pandora and the person I follow on Tumblr posts pictures of them on a daily basis. But I'm really out of touch with anything that's happening in the TH community (as if there's anything even happening). And frankly, I don't care.

But today I found out that Bill was doing a collab with Far East Movement. I heard rumors about it last year but I didn't really follow up on it. But I guess it came to life not too long ago. And now there's samples of the song on the internet. So it's very real actually.

Ha ha ha... I do not like the song at all. Okay, maybe not at all. It has the possibility of being catchy if I listened to it a few more times. (I probably will but not anytime soon.)

The Far East Movement part sounds like so many other songs I've heard on the radio that I just... I can't even fathom the purpose of the song. Bill's part makes it a little better but the excessive use of autotune is borderline offensive to me. It's just so bad. This is why I can't listen to the Hot 100 station anymore. (But I only listen to it in the morning because the radio people in the morning are amazing whereas the people on the alternative/rock station are freakin' horrid.)

If you want to listen to it yourself, here it is:

I mean, if your into mainstream then it's not that bad. I really shouldn't be so harsh. I'm acting like a douche-y hipter right now. Which brings me to something I found out today.

You know that song, Boyfriend by Justin Bieber? (of course you do) Well, I realized that I actually don't hate that song. I knew when it first came out as a single but I avoided it because I sincerely thought it was gonna be one of those dumb acoustic love songs that I really don't enjoy. But I heard it on the radio a few weeks ago when I started listening to the Hot 100 station again and then I heard "If I was your boyfriend..." and I it dawned on me that this was Boyfriend by Justin Bieber. It's a little cheezy but I like it. The beat is nice and the voice is good. It's pretty iight. I'd have that on my mp3 player.

But about the FEM and Bill song... A lot of the other Aliens, as I'd like to call them, don't seem to like song much either. From what I'm perceiving. But they all just seem to be in support of the exposure. And that's cool. I don't know how much I like Tokio Hotel much anymore. (I mean I like them as people. The band members are lovely people with adorable personalities. Though as I say this, I'm talking more of Gustav and Georg than I'm talking about Bill and Tom) But I don't know how I like them as musicians.

Maybe their new album will be really good. I don't know. I guess it'll depend on what type of music I'm liking at the moment. But right now, I've never been more in love with the sound of a nice strong voice and good guitars and good drums. The whole electronic auto tune thing... Well, it's not my thing right now.
