God. Why?
I couldn't even get up my usual time. And when I finally did get up and looked out the window, it was snowing hard. When I got out of the house to go catch my bus, I was slipping on the snow. The only pro was that the snow looked so pretty and there was a fresh layer of snow on the ground that hadn't been stepped on and it felt so nice and soft underneath my feet. Also, it wasn't even that cold outside. But the pros end there.
My bus came late and I didn't get to school until after the bell rang. However, I walk into my class, already a few minutes late, and more than half of the class wasn't even there. And that's when I knew I should've just stayed home today.
We did a worksheet in my AP Bio class and I decided to skip second period because SAT testing was today and the hallway of my Stat class was blocked off, meaning I would have to go outside to get to class, so I just went to auditorium to watch the Black History Month program that was being put on.
The program was pretty nice. A group called Step Africa, a group of post-graduate mid-30s African American people stepped for us and they were good. I think the appeal of stepping starts to wear off when you're school is renowned for having one of the best and sexiest step groups so I feel like we expect way more than we should. But if I was thinking about it objectively, they were pretty good.
Third period, I was in there again and decided to sit with my friends who were being totally racist and kept making fun of Africa even though the people in the group explicitly said that stepping was created by AFRICAN-AMERICAN college students. But whatever, it was funny anyway.
I could've gotten away with skipping fourth period too since we didn't do anything. But noo. I had to go to class because I thought we were actually doing work. -_-
It's okay though. One period is enough. I can just be like, my bus came late or something if my teacher asks. Meh. I'll figure it out later.
My computer graphics teacher ended up liking my poster and gave me a few suggestions on how to fix it. Right now, I need to finish up my AP Bio work and then, I'm gonna work on my Grad Night t-shirt design. I thought I had a good idea for the design but it's still iffy right now. I'll finish up The Crucible poster on Thursday night.
Nothing else really happened today. Overall, I can say it was a good day. I got to hang with my friends. I got to skip out on a class. I didn't see The Guy today. And I got to catch up on my new favorite show, "Are You The One?" Have I spoken about it? Well, I'll speak about it in a New Obsession post. But it was a good episode.
Yep, that's it.
BYE.
