Oh hey. Didn't see you there?

I was just polishing my chops as you can probably see. What are chops, you say? Well, don't worry about that now, my dear Wilburson.

Today was a pretty swell day though. Mostly because I got to see friends I hadn't seen in awhile. It started out pretty murky though with the rain and my bag and body getting all wet. The bus came later than usual too, of course.

School was easy breezy. I think I have like two tests tomorrow though. But I'm not really acting like I do.

The only thing that was really off-putting about today was my NHS meeting. I swear, the only reason I'm in this club is become of the distinction. The ONLY reason. Otherwise, this club is so useless.

Apparently, they were holding a fundraiser and I got an e-mail about it saying that NHS members must either sell a box or pay $35. I didn't respond back assuming that since I didn't want a box, I was just going to sell $35. There was no way in hell I was going to go around, carrying a heavy box of candy that I probably won't sell much out of because I'm only at school for half of the day and the fact that in all my classes, a good amount of the kids are in NHS.

Well, I come to the meeting today and find out that if you didn't respond back to the e-mail, a box was ordered for you and you had to either sell it or pay $72 for it. I laughed. I actually laughed out loud because I thought it was a joke. And sadly, it wasn't.

I came up with a bunch of other people to sign out for this heavy blue box that I didn't ask for. Luckily, I have the GREATEST friend in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD who agreed to sell the box for me  (because she likes selling boxes) and I told her that in exchange, I'll buy her the nice sugar cookies with the icing on top. And now I don't have to worry about it... As long as she doesn't damage the stuff.

I can't tell you how much of a blessing she was to me. I swear, the longer I carried that box, the angrier I got. And I probably only carried that box for 30 minutes tops.

But to be honest, I guess the whole thing was a blessing. I don't have to pay $35 out of my own pocket. Instead, I'll use that money to print out the info for my science board because I realized that I didn't want to cut and paste anything. I'm such a perfectionist that I couldn't deal with staying up for hours to make the perfect science fair board. It's easier for me to be meticulous on a computer screen and then just print it all out when I'm all done. It costs about $35 to get it printed and laminated and I thought that it was a bit costly for a simple science board that I probably won't ever use again but I'd rather do that then do a lot of hand work.

Colleges are still running my mind. I found out UPenn is in Philadelphia too so we most likely will be visiting there as well as Temple and Drexel. So that's good.

I just want to look at dorm rooms and do frivolous stuff on the internet but that's not what I should be doing. I'm going to send some e-mails and look up some shiz before I study. And hopefully, I actually do study.

I'll just add that I saw The Guy at NHS because he's in NHS as you probably know. And his girlfriend left early and that made me giddy. He was one of the people that had to go up to get a box as well and I noticed how shiny and coiffed his hair is but in that effortless way. It's not flowy and luscious in that Avan Jogia kind of way. But instead, it's very modern prep boy if I had to describe it.

 Like this.
Not like this.
It's cute. He's cute. End of story.
