Today was another chill day at the internship.
LOL.
Adults are funny.
So today there happened to be an ice cream social at the office. And these people came in with buckets of homemade ice cream and toppings. And I got a little cup of butter pecan ice cream myself with caramel and M&Ms and whipped cream. It was really good. I would've gotten another but I didn't wanna seem fat.
But that's besides the point.
Before the people came in with the ice cream, all I hear was "Are you coming to the ice cream social? You know, there's gonna be an ice cream social today. I can't wait for ice cream. Ice cream Ice cream Ice cream."
Mind you, these are grown people at a lawfirm sicing over some ice cream. And it was just so funny to me how excited they were about it. There was this particular lady who wouldn't stop talking about it AT ALL. Even after the ice cream came, she was like, "Oh my gosh. It's so good. I'm gonna go for seconds." After going for seconds, it was just more ice cream ice cream ice cream.
So today, I was working with this woman with finishing up exhibits and other stuff for a case that's going on trial very soon. I'm pretty sure I can't give out all the details. I don't know. I was swore to secrecy or anything. But it's basically about a woman who died of colonrectal cancer at only age 30. And I guess it has something to do with late diagnosis or malpractice or something. I skimmed over the medical records but it was pretty interesting what I saw.
Doctors can not write for chiz.
You know, while I was reading through the medical records, I started thinking about stuff that happens back at my summer camp. Yesterday was darn funny, I admit. The girls in that class are crazy. So I started thinking about it and began smiling unconsciously. Note that the screen was showing the medical records of a woman who died of cancer. If people knew what I was doing and realized that I was smiling, they would probably think I was crazy.
I caught myself though. :P
Yesterday, I found that A LOT of girls have a lot of qualms with their internships. Either I got really lucky (which I think I did) or those girls just have really nasty attitudes because my internship is really not that bad. Yeah, there's a lot of tedious nad mind-numbing work sometimes but the people make up for it.
I'm so glad I'm the only girl that's at my internship. The other girls would've gave me a bad name. Not all of them, but most of them.
I guess that's it for now. BYE.
