So I noticed that lately, there have been several mainstream songs that I actually... like. I would never put it on my mp3 player or anything, but when it comes up on the radio, I am bumping. They are my guilty pleasures. I would never put it on my mp3 player because I figure that I will end up hearing the songs so much everywhere else that there's really no point.
So here's a list of the mainstream in my bloodstream.
- Boyfriend by Justin Bieber
- Where Have You Been by Rihanna
- Chasing The Sun by The Wanted
- Let's Go by Calvin Harris ft. Ne-Yo (I actually like most songs by Ne-Yo. :P)
- Mirror by Lil' Wayne ft. Bruno Mars
- Bad Girls by M.I.A.
But I have been digging the 90s music. There are two songs in particular that I've been really liking:
- What I Got by Sublime
- Jeremy by Pearl Jam
I'm so dumb.
And when I first showed my sister What I Got, she was totally going on the song. I felt offended. It's not something I would normally listen to, honestly. It starts out with a twangy guitar and a nice chillax beat in the back. The song is about loving what you have. I'm pretty sure. And the music fits perfectly to the lyrics in everyway and I just love it. It's a good message. There's too many win.
