She's Just 16 Years Old.

I can't believe how amazing Into The Night by Benny Mardones is. Oh my goodness. I have never wanted to  travel back to the 1980s so badly.

Something weird happened yesterday. When my dad was going to the liquor store to get some stuff for a meeting we're hosting, I had this sudden urge to hear the song. So I turned the station to the station where I first heard the song from, which is this station that plays songs from the 80s to now. And Into The Night came on. At that moment, I knew it was love.

And my husband will probably sing that song to me on our honey moon. It must happen.

So I learned something mind-blowing on Thursday though for some reason, I feel like I already kind of knew. But I'm not sure how.

Now think about the new fashion of today. Crop tops, cut-out shirts, sheer fabric, distressed stuff. Why is low-quality and barely there the new thing now? My mentor explained to us on Thursday that it was because of the economic crisis and fashion companies are making due by using as least fabric and material they possibly can.

It makes sense if you thinking about it. All the new clothes have some type of exaggerated holes or missing section somewhere. Even the sheer stuff don't come with a built-in slip anymore.

I mean, I'm not a total hater on the trends. I kind of like distressed jeans but certain ones look right and certain ones don't. Cut-out shirts sometimes look weird to me and I don't think crop tops look right on me either. But here are some pictures from H&M, Forever 21, and UrbanOutfitters of clothes that they sell right now.

I think you guys get the point. Forever21 and UrbanOutfitters are probably the biggest offenders of the three I looked at. UrbanOutfitters is the worst because of the prices.

But yeah, I'm not gonna hate or anything. I like some of the trends but I would never drop a lot of dough for it. I just find it very interesting and I'm glad my mentor shared this with me.
