Anyway... Yesterday was as busy as I knew it would be.
First, I went to the Science and Tech open house as I said. I made a new friend but at one point, I was standing at the registration table for about 15 minutes by myself. There were all these Science and Tech cliques around me but I fit into none of them. I didn't talk to any of them. I just felt bad. Why aren't I compatible with other smart people like myself?
It was there that I found out my brother didn't get into the program. I was in charge of all the folders from M-O and our last name is between there. And I didn't see my a folder for my brother. The weird thing was that we never got a letter saying whether he was accepted or not. I talked with the coordinator and she said there was some issue and a lot of letters didn't get sent out. My parents but mostly my brother, have a sliver of hope that he may be on the waiting list. But that's not a possibility because even the waiting list kids got folders.
After that hectic extravaganza, I went straight to the Calculus session and got my three points. And my teacher announced that from now on, starting this week, he's going to have sessions after school for two points each. You bet I'm gonna take advantage of all I can get it. I may end up never going straight home ever again, well, except on Fridays.
I went home after the Calc session and took a nap. An hour later, I went to my mother's job to get some community service hours. There was really no reason for me to since I have a lot of time to get it done. But I got my homework done while I was there but I feel bad for not really engaging with the old people. I wish I was more outgoing so I converse with them and such. But I couldn't. I merely passed out the bingo mats and picked up the chips at the end. And then I got a cookie from these Girl Scouts that were running the activities. The cookie (with all the decoration fixings) was pretty good and scarfed down in a minute. So attractive.
I'm not sure if I'll be coming back next week. I think I will.
Less than an hour later, I went with my mom to an aunt's house where they were having a meeting about finances and other stuff. I finished my Chemistry homework and almost finished the chapter I had to read of the Frederick Douglass autobiography. The auntie made us green tea and set out almonds, peanuts, and strawberries and I never realized how good almonds were. After, I was fed rice, chicken, spinach, and kidney beans.
Then my mom let me go to Ross and pick out some chiz. I'm not really happy with everything I got because when I got home, I found out that some of the tops looked gross on me. I think the combination of my boobs plus my short pudgy stomach make some tops look really bad on me for some reason. The only thing I really liked was this black top that I'm planning on wearing on Thursday for Anti-Valentine's Day. I got two sweater things so as long as I wear those, the tops look okay.
As usual, I have to go because I have things to do. But here's a picture of Bill Kaulitz at age 16. My age! I remember having an uber crush on this era of Bill back then. And now that I'm finally "his age", I'm not so obsessed. But I have to admit, I still think he's adorable.
Sorry for spamming. :P
