The Struggle Is Real.

Don't expect much posts during the rest of the week. This week is...

DUN DUN DUN

SAT Week.

I'm in panic mode. I'm not ready. I'm not prepared to fail. This week has been a disaster in terms of studying. My computer was being slow yesterday so I didn't get to do the online course. And the day before, I was lazy. Today, I'm going to finish a practice test, do a math practice quiz, study vocabulary words, and possibly, do a Writing quiz.

I have no idea how I'll do all of that without getting supremely exhausted. It's already 10:00 PM. I just don't know but I'm going to do it anyway.

All college things are on hold for awhile. I won't go to the library at all this week so I can get home early, sleep, and wake up early enough to get everything done.

I can't wait until Saturday finally comes. I just want to get my 700s 700s 700s!!!

I'm going to be as brief as possible so that I'm done with this post before 10:30 PM.

First, I went to a Harvard-Princeton-UVA information session and it was pretty informative. I have never wanted to go to Harvard as badly as I do now. First, it is a great college town. It's in the North. It's near a whole bunch of good universities and colleges. And the financial aid seems to be pretty good. People with an income of $100,000 or lower get it REALLY good. I have never in my life wanted my parents to make less money until now.

I want to check out the majors but I've noticed with Ivy Leagues that the majors are really limited. I want to do Biotechnology and then minor in Physiology. That would be my dream college plan. With Princeton, that's a no-go because they really don't have any good majors unless you're going to do engineering.

I'm planning on doing a college table like I did with my friend that lists colleges and their town, tuition, SAT range, majors, and blah blah blah. Hopefully, I'll get it done next week though I wanted to start this week. But the possibility of that is bleak.

There were a bunch of smart-looking kids in the crowd at the information session. I was by myself because my parents are douches (jk.). But it was pretty diverse with Blacks, Whites, and Asians. Hispanics not so much. But I was seeing several white kids in suits as if they were going to a college interview or something. I'm hoping they were just coming from their prep school or whatever because that would be laughable if that wasn't the case. Some of the kids were ultra preppy looking though in the non-uniform type of way. And some of the kids looked a bit too young to be seniors.

Second thing I wanted to talk about was the whole government shut-down thing. So about half of the kids that are interning couldn't go their internships today because their internships are at government-funded locations such as USDA and NASA. And there was some girl going to UDC and she couldn't go to her internship either. If the shut-down is as long as it was previously, then I feel sorry for those interns. It's funny how their grades is dependent on whether the government decides to work or not. But many kids who were interning at the university were actually wishing that their internships were affected by the shut-down. I was surprised, probably because I actually like my internship. But meh. That's their problem.

Third thing. I was talking with my friend yesterday and I couldn't help but think that she's just trying to force me to believe that she has this new blossoming social life. She keeps telling me about her adventures with all these cool people as if it's relevant to my life. I know she's probably excited because before, she would always lament to me about her lack of real friends and plethora of acquaintances. I'm actually happy for her because it means that she stops relying on me and getting on my back for having other friends. But I can't help but think that she's trying to make me jealous when she really isn't. I joke that I have no social life anymore. But really, it's not like I go to my internship and sit at a computer all day, talking to no one, and then go home. I'm starting to talk to a bunch of people at the lab and they're all really nice and it's not that bad at all.

She might just be trying to force me to realize that we are growing apart in a way. And I guess I don't see it that way. Can't you be close to someone without hanging out all the time?

So I'll end the post here. I might not be back until Saturday afternoon unless something really extreme happens.

Bye for now.
