Touch Me. Treat Me. Love Me. Feed Me.

Hey! Long time no see. Oh my goodness. I've been so freakin' busy. I haven't leisurely been on the internet since like Friday maybe.

I went to Connecticut on Saturday for convention and it was pretty cool. Except I hated the hotel. But other than that, it was memorable but I do have some regrets. I pretty much slept and stayed in the hotel for most of the time. Part of it was because my feet hurt since I only brought one pair of heels and they were hella tall. And part of it was because I was too lazy and tired.

I missed my mom perform and I missed the Teen After Party where I could've won an iPad or a gift card some thing. And they also had a NYC Shopping trip but I didn't go. Instead, I went to Playland, this amusement park in Connecticut, and that was awesome. I went on a rollercoaster. Not no freaky rollercoaster or anything but I was definitely afraid. I don't like fast drops. I feel like I'm about to die. But I survived and I was totally prepared to go on any ride after that.

Okay, now I would rant about the hotel but I don't wanna spend too much time on the computer since I'm craving a mango right now.

But yeah, FIRST OF ALL, the service is horrible.

My dad asked for adjoined hotel rooms so that we would be able to go to each others room without leaving the room. And we didn't get that. And then he also asked for a refrigerator and a microwave in our rooms. NADA! My dad was so mad about that.

And we didn't have a kitchen and spoons and knives and plates and stuff like we had at Marriot Residence Inn (the hotel we usually stay in). The one we were at was Hilton, by the way.

The maids weren't that awesome either. They didn't replace the towels as much as they're supposed to.

We had a coffee machine to boil water but they only provided us with two tea bags and two cups. Like wth? There was four of us in a room. What the heck is two tea bags and two cups supposed to do? And the coffee machine was dirty like he**. You'd think that the maids or something would at least wash it before we got there.

There was no breakfast. In fact, the only reason we got to eat breakfast at the hotel was because the convention had paid for it. But since we had all gotten down to eat very late, there was nothing left except eggs and ketchup. No spoons and forks to eat it though. So I just got a whole bunch of tea and stuff to take back into the hotel. I wish I had just taken the whole thing and left. But that wouldn't have been right.

But we got some muffins from some people that had brought some food which was very thoughtful of them. I didn't get to eat all my muffin because on the same day, we were supposed to go to Playland. And we were supposed to get to the lobby at 10 AM. Being Africans, OF COURSE we weren't leaving anywhere near 10 AM. Give two hours. So it was 12 AM we left. And I went back upstairs to get my muffin.

AND THE MAID THREW IT AWAY. And I was slightly pissed.

Another thing I didn't like was how rusty and everything looked. Our door knob was scratched up. Oh and we didn't have free internet. Can you believe that? We had to pay for that chiz WHICH WE DIDN'T. In Marriot, I didn't even have to think twice.

It's funny how you don't know how good you have it until you're plopped into a totally different situation.

I sincerely thought Hilton was gonna be a nice hotel. But it sucked so bad. And I don't care what we do next year but I hope we never have to stay in the Hilton ever again. But the thing is, the Hilton is probably not that horrible. But compared to Marriot, it doesn't compete at all. Except their fitness room is bigger. But that's just about it. And they have nice lotion.
