I don't know but it wasn't as awesome as I expected it to be.
Don't get me wrong, it's way better than any other pep rally I've ever been to (which really doesn't mean anything) but of all the hype I was getting, the pep rally ended up being a disappointment, kind of.
The performances were amazing.
That was the only good part which was actually the main part. My favorite was probably the boys step team.They wearing black button-downs with ties in their class color and black dress pants and they looked so hot stepping and doing all these moves. I don't know about you but seeing guys participating in something they're devoted in and looking hot while doing it is like a turn on for me. I don't care for football players because they're just big and run you over and a lot of them are dumb and I don't like that.
I think what messed up my experience was the people I was sitting with.
First of all, I made my friend a fake pep rally ticket because they were all out by the time she could go get one. And I copied it and I didn't realize that it looked nothing at all like the real one until very late and I was too lazy to care. I could've made it better but I didn't feel like it. So my friend got caught but we weren't expecting the admins to look so closely. But they did. LOL. It was so funny when she got caught. I'm actually LOLing right now.
So I sat beside no one I knew.
And the second thing was that it stunk so bad. You have a bunch of teenagers in a bench, squished together. And it was really hot and I guess someone forgot to put on deodorant that day because it smelled so bad.
The third thing was that a frisbee got thrown and it hit me on the lip. And at that point, I wanted to cry since everybody was just pushing and shoving and shouting and I just wanted to disappear. I was already hating everything and everybody and wanted them to go jump into the road.
It got better after that except that it stank. That's all.
The third thing was that our sophomore class had NO spirit. One half of our section was cheering while the other half was dead.
I'm not a very spirited person but at least I stood up and clapped. But I'm guessing they felt angsty and pissed off. Seriously, I was tired of pep and just wanted to sit down and freakin' watch the performances. That's all.
And so because we sucked at pep, our sophomore class got 3rd place. Which sucks because we could've gotten at least 2nd place because our hallway was amazing. (I didn't get to see it though since it was teared down before I even got to school which doesn't make ANY sense to me why people would stay after school til 10 PM to work on the hallway that would be teared down before many people could even see it) But I'm waiting for photos. And also, the things we made for pep rally were sexy amazing with our sign that said Mean Green 14 with sharp teeth around it and "blood" in between the teeth in orange, purple, and yellow (the colors of the other classes). I was totally responsible for the teeth and the blood. And the sophomores came out in animal costumes for our zoo theme and cages and we just LOOKED awesome. But we got third place because stupid sophomores booed the other classes and we had no pep.
It's whatever though.
But I missed the bus which sucked.
Overall, it was an interesting and okay day. I just expected more. It seemed so much cooler from the YouTube videos I saw.
