So I don't know how September will be but I'm guessing you'll have gotten used to the routine by now. You may or may not have that internship. But you're probably taking super hard classes. Is AP Stat hard? Is Advanced Organic Chemistry sucky? I really hope not because you can't be a doctor or pharmacist if it is. It better be the time of your life!Well, July me. The good news is that I did get that internship. Yay me! And also, my classes haven't gotten hard yet. I'm not completely used to the routine but I'm getting there. This whole new internship at the University of Maryland has completely thrown me off. But in a good way. AP Stat is surprisingly really easily and my teacher is such a darling. Advanced Organic Chem actually does not suck. Would I say it's the time of my life? Err. No. But I think I do have the potential to go into medicine if it keeps on like this.
Are there any cute guys in your class? Did you make any new friends?Sadly, there are no spectacularly cute guys in my class. I think I'm subconsciously forcing myself to like some of the guys in my class, just to have a little bit of excitement. Seriously, there's this kid in my AP Stat class that I used to sometimes glance at and think, "Hmm... Not bad." But these past few days, he's been taking off his glasses and for some reason, maybe it's the angle I see him at, I've been finding him particularly cute even though I never really did before. But then, it's probably a good thing that I don't have any distractions.
And I have made any new friends? I will say yes. I think I'm building some new friendships, slowly but surely.
I hope you've got your head in the game because college is around the corner. I hope you're doing all your homework and turning it in. It's September. You best have done ALL of your homework. My head is partially in the game. I know I've got college around the corner but I'm still about that procrastination life. It's a struggle to study for the SAT. I'm procrastinating on getting those recommendation letters and essays done. However, I have done ALL my homework and turned it in and I'm proud of myself.
Have you been keeping touch with your other friends? Are the friends at your table as cool as they were last year? They better be. I hope they are.Nothing can compare to my lunch table last year. But the people that sit at my table are cool enough. And yes, I have been keeping in touch with my other friends. I only get to see them on Mondays but when I do, it's still the same. They are still the quirky little misfits.
What good music have you been listening to? Currently, it's all been Silversun Pickups. Hopefully, a cool band has popped between the two months.Ugh... No. I haven't discovered any new bands to love. It's actually just been more Silversun Pickups. I also listen to The Mars Volta and Incubus a lot. And I have an assortment of new songs from new artists that I have discovered but I haven't found that ultimate band. I'm okay with it now but I'm still on the look out.
Oh and did you lose those pounds you were supposed to lose? It would suck if you didn't.I didn't. :( I probably gained weight.
The point of this letter is to motivate you. So yeah, get motivated. Do the right things. Don't procrastinate. Eat healthy. Get on top and beat those Science and Tech sleazes to the ground! Be the best person you know you can be because I know how much potential you have. You have SO much potential. You're just lazy as hell.
Turn your life around while you still can. Have no regrets! This does motivate me. Right after I finish this post, I'm going to write another post and then I'm going to study for my SAT. I'm going to e-mail my tutor. I'm going to go to my teachers tomorrow. I'm going to get things done!
