Where do I start?
Okay, so the first song that I have ever heard by them was In The End which is probably their most famous and loved song in the entire United States. I remember hearing it a lot on the radio probably back when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade. [I can check... hold on.] Nope. It was released in 2001. So I was like 5 years old. That makes sense. And it was a good song to me back then. Here it is:
So the song didn't completely drop out of my life. It came on the radio a few times. And then I around last year, I heard the song on the radio. And I'm just sitting there with the nostalgic feeling like, Woah. This song is truly amazing. I used Google to find the song on YouTube and I was obsessed with it for awhile. I was so obsessed that I even got the instrumental version of it and began rocking it on my CD. Because I was so addicted to In The End, I tried to find more songs by Linkin Park that I could like.
But I came out disappointed and I just accepted the fact that this may be the only song I like by them. The thing was, I had a whole bunch of friends who were IN LOVE with Linkin Park. So I was confused and felt kinda left out. Like, Is there something I'm missing?
I continued to keep roaming around and found awesome songs that I remembered hearing on the radio like Numb and What I've Done.
Then as famous as Linkin Park is, I began loving some songs that I inevitably listened to before. Like Papercut [it was on this Tokio Hotel video I was watching] which I hadn't really liked but it kinda grew on me the more I listened to. And I was obsessed with it a few months back.
Right now, I'm SERIOUSLY OMFG LOVING their song Breaking The Habit. I'm totally obsessed with it and I'm trying hard not to overdue it because I really don't wanna be tired of the song. I'm trying to learn how to play it on the piano. It's not an easy song to learn though. But here it is though. It's so PRETTY:
And they're just continuing to make me happy. And I finally feel in on the Linkin Park Lover- Crew. Because they seriously are awesome. And if someone wants to dispute this with me, then shove a Coca-Cola can up your hole. And it's not coming out until I finish listening to Breaking The Habit, twice, in all the freakin' remixes they have on YouTube.
So here's a picture of all of them:
It's funny because you would think there's only two main people in the band, the singer and the rapper. But there's a whole group of them.My favorite one besides the singer and the rapper is the one on the left of the blonde guy. I don't know why. He makes me smile for some reason. And the Asian dude is pretty awesome too. I guess because he generates all the synth beats and stuff. It's funny.
As obsessed as I am with them, I haven't gotten to know their names!
This is Chester Bennington!
He is the lead vocalist.
This is Mike Shinoda! He looks like a Mike, if you ask me.
He's mainly the rapper and co-vocalist of the group. And according to Wikipedia, he does the guitar and keyboard in the band too. OMG. It's scary how normal this dude looks nowadays. Search it up on Google. I always thought he was so cute and small even though he's freakin' old. And taller than me.
This is Joe Hahn!
He is the DJ and sampler of the group. :DD
This is Brad Delson!
He is the lead guitarist. I don't know about you, but I think is beard is pretty epic.
This is Rob Bourdon!
He is the drummer, obviously. Cool dude. I think he is.
This is Dave "Phoenix" Farrell.
He's the bassist of the band. I don't know why but there's not many photos of him. But he's seems like a cool dude. Bassists never get any love.
Alright. I guess that's enough obsession for one day. I'm not sure whether I should do one for Three Days Grace. Because I'm not totally obsessed but I've been really loving them. Not recently. But not so long ago, I was addicted. I especially love their song Home. But that's for another day, right?
Here's a list of Linkin Park songs I love:
- In The End
- Numb
- What I've Done
- With You
- Breaking The Habit
- Waiting For The End
- Papercut
K BYE! :DD
