Park-To-Rose: Day 24 [Dear Parents]

"Day 24- A letter to your parents"

Dear Parents,
This is your daughter. Just in case you didn't know. Not your third child but your first one. Yeah. That's me. I'm writing a letter to you expressing everything that I want to tell you but I don't... at the same time.

Let's start out positive.

First, I want to thank you for everything you guys have done for me. Thank you for going to work everyday to get the money to provide for us. Thank you mommy for waking up early in the morning so that you could do our laundry and clean our house and cook food. I don't know how you do it. I'm sorry that none of your children inherited your mentality. You don't even like cooking but you still do it anyway so that we don't go hungry. I don't like cleaning but I still don't do it. I wish I could be as unlazy as you. But I'm just not.

And daddy thank you for buying us stuff. Thank you for this laptop that you gave me and the nice bed that you bought that we broke. And the couches that you bought that we messed up. And the nice dining tables that you bought that we scratched up. And the big screen TVs in our living rooms.

You guys do so much for us. We don't deserve it. At all. I wanna grow up to be someone so that I can give you guys everything that your heart desires.

But I don't want to be a doctor. At least I don't think I do. I can't stand the fact that I may have to go to school for so many years to do a profession I'm not 100% interested in. I love medicine. But I hate studying. And I'm so antisocial and clumsy. There's no way I can be a good doctor. I don't want to be in control of someone's life. But I feel like I want to do something in designing and computers. But you guys would probably laugh or something. I know that you guys want the bragging rights. So maybe I'll just be a doctor anyway. Just for you guys.

And I also wanna tell you guys that I'm not perfect. I stay on the computer doing nothing. I forget to do my homework. And I can get very irresponsible. But my brother is the one that always gets punished for his laziness. I don't think it's fair because you guys just don't know about being able to check my grades. But you know you can check his grades at his school. I wanna tell you but I'm scared to reveal to you guys how much like him I really am. I don't think it's fair that I get better treatment than the rest of them. It's not their fault that they aren't as smart as I am. And I'm not trying to be rude. Everyone is different. I don't know but I think God gave me this gift where I just understand things better. I don't even have to study much of the time. Yes, I agree that they all do need to read more but I don't think they'll ever exactly follow in my footsteps and I don't think they ever will. Things have changed since I was in school.

Okay. That's enough. There's many more stuff but I think that's enough for now. I don't want you guys to know any of this. So you guys aren't ever going to know. At least not anytime soon.

I love you guys. Thank you for everything you've done for me.

Love,
Me.
